One on the gifts of the Celtic Christian tradition is the memory of John the Beloved leaning on Christ at the Last Supper and hearing the heart beat of God. Our home, the Church of St Edmund, is a place of listening, listening deep within ourselves, listening deep within one another, listening deep within the body of the earth for the beat of the Holy.
In this listening, welcoming space there is room for conversation, for encounter, for silence. We offer a labyrinth to walk, concerts and exhibitions of art – “looking deeply at life as it is in the very here and now.” Thich Nhat Hahn.
