When travelling, many people consider a hotel as their best option, but guest houses can offer just as much, if not more, than a standard hotel. Guest houses usually have more character and are often less expensive than a hotel.
Inverness is a beautiful city with plenty to offer visitors. If you're looking for a place to stay while in Inverness, I would highly recommend choosing a guest house. Guest houses are typically smaller and more intimate than hotels, and most offer breakfast as well as other amenities.
There are a number of great guest houses in Inverness, and I've had the pleasure of staying in a few of them. My personal favorite is The Grampian Hotel. The Grampian is a small, family-owned hotel that offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
Another great option is the Caledonian Guest House. The Caledonian is a beautiful Victorian guest house that offers guests a relaxed and comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and include all of the amenities you would expect, and the breakfast is amazing.
If you're looking for a great place to stay in Inverness, I would highly recommend giving a guest house a try. You won't be disappointed.
