Recently, I’ve had a few friends ask me about travelling to Nairobi and if I have any advice. I’ve been lucky enough to make some great connections while living here and they wanted to know if I had any tips for them. My first piece of advice is always to try and stay in a Hostel.
There are a few reasons why Hostels are a great option for travellers. First of all, they are affordable. Hostels usually have a variety of price points, so you can find one that fits your budget. They are also a great way to meet new people and make friends. Hostels are a social place and there is always something going on. You never know who you’ll meet!
Another great thing about Hostels is that they are a great way to see a city. Most of them are located in the heart of the city and are within walking distance of all the main attractions. This is a great way to save money on transportation and see more of the city.
Overall, I would highly recommend staying in a Hostel when travelling to Nairobi. You’ll save money, meet new people and see the city like a local.
