When you think of Woodinville, WA, you may think wine country. With over 130 wineries and tasting rooms, that is one of the top reasons to visit. But, there is so much more to this charming town just north of Seattle.
One of the questions I am often asked is whether to stay in a hotel or to rent a house. There are pros and cons to both. Here is my take on why I think hotels are the better choice when travelling to Woodinville.
Staying in a hotel provides you with all the amenities you need, such as a breakfast buffet, pool and gym, and sometimes even a complimentary wine hour. You don’t have to worry about packing all your toiletries or making your bed. Another big bonus is that most hotels offer shuttle service to and from the airport, which can be a lifesaver if you have a lot of luggage or are tired from your flight.
Another advantage of staying in a hotel is that you can easily walk to restaurants, tasting rooms, and other attractions. The hotels in Woodinville are all very centrally located, which makes it easy to get around without a car. If you do have a car, most hotels offer free parking.
Renting a house can be a great option if you are travelling with a large group or if you want more space. However, keep in mind that you will need to pack all your toiletries, food, and bedding, and you will also need to clean up after yourself. House rentals can also be more expensive than hotels, and many of them do not offer shuttle service to and from the airport.
In conclusion, I think hotels are the better option for travelling to Woodinville. They are affordable, centrally located, and offer all the amenities you need.
